Austin & The Syd Experience is a funk rock ensemble out of Columbus, OH. Their brand of music AKA "ASYD Funk" is commonly described as a sexy hybrid of hard rock, psychedelic soul and raw merciless funk. Guitar driven spacerock, thunder slap bass lines, in-the-pocket drumming back beat and powerful, gritty vocals all come together perfectly for a soul stirring, psychedelic jam. The band is comprised of Austin Johnson on guitar, Syd on Vocals, John Zuck on bass and Brandon Pettiford on drums. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin Sly Stone and Betty Davis just to name few, the band has concocted a fusion all their own to deliver an unforgettable spiritual experience  that has everyone on their feet and dancing."

This power group is currently writing music and selling out venues in there hometown and surrounding cities. They have new music coming very soon and would like to play in a town near you!
